Oh, how I love the Oscars! It's a absolute pleasure to see who-what-wear and getting inspired by all these beautiful dresses! Here are my favorites:

As for me... I am back in Bucharest and had a little trouble with the internet but now everything is fixed and I already have to think about a project for college. But I will enjoy these pictures first.
Oh, and let me say that Natalie Portman did a awesome job in "Black Swan", and I think that "The King's Speech" really deserved the award for the Best Picture category. Brilliant film, you should see it, if you haven't, yet.

I don't know what exactly I had in mind, but I wanted to show you one of my thrift findings, meaning the velvet blouse, and I got carried away with the outfit, and I started posing ..actually my legs started posing on their own. But hey...I like it!
That blouse is a huuuge size, but worn it like this or with a belt it looks quite cool, and don't you just love that burgundy red? I simply adore it!
Soon, I 'll be leaving back to Bucharest, it's been a relaxed week and I'm looking forward for new projects!

Wearing: self made skirt, random stockings and shoes, thrifted velvet blouse.

It took me a great deal of courage to step outside and take these photos, actually all I wanted to do is sit cozy and read "The Age of Innocence".
As you can see, it was snowing quite badly, butI gathered myself and step outside. I wanted to try out this dress in winter and I really like the outcome, I find it to be a "all seasons dress".
Since I spending my days outside my house or in places to keep me warm all day, I have to catch up with blogs and fashion shows - I just love doing this!
Have a great week!

Wearing: no name dress, Foxx jacket, Terranova blouse.

As soon as I arrived back home for my short vacation it started snowing...for two and a half days straight. What can I do? Layer myself in clothes and try not to catch a cold.
I went yesterday thrifting and I really found some goodies, can't wait to show you! There are a few shops that need to be checked and I am in "search-mode" therefor, I can't wait!
There's nothing else much to say, so I leave you with my amazing vintage skirt, haha no modesty, and a pure white background.

Wearing: Vintage skirt, sweater, bag, belt and scarf, no name coat, Leonardo boots, mom's gloves, handmade cap.

From what I've seen so far, was this tendency to minimalsim versus color, mixing patterns and fabrics, and again the '70s silhouette. Of course, I love color as you can very much see, and these collections are quite in my tastes. God, I really need more maxi skirts.
Okay, I am off to take some photos and face the freezing cold outside.
Have a great lazy Sunday!

NY Favorites

Sorry guys, no outfit post today, I am stuck in studies... tomorrow is my final exam and I am free!
For now I leave you with my favorite collections so far from New York Fashion Week.
Starting with Rodarte:

And Vena Cava..

As you might know, I am not a totally fan of glamour, I like casual and fun looks, I prefer color to black, and eccentricity to minimalism. I love flare pants, sheer fabrics, midi or maxi skirts and the idea of "youth", and this is what I am searching on the catwalks , plus some funky , surprising new ideas.

Can't wait for more shows!

How was your Valentine's Day?
I don't usually celebrate this day, so I watched New York Fashion Week's shows, cleaned up the house and ran some errands, and I bumped into Alice - again - I think the Universe has something planed for us.
About the photos.. I took them yesterday when it was a gorgeous day, and made me dream of Spring very badly. If I see an inch of snow again, I'll get depressed.
I made the skirt awhile ago, after falling in love with the print on that gorgeous velvet, so I started playing with it. And this is the result. Like?
Oh and the necklace is recently bought, it reminded me of Alice in Wonderland so it immediately caught my eye.

Wearing: self made skirt, vintage sweater and bag, Mondex thights, You T shirt, Botinelli shoes, Stradivarius necklace
